another very cool sketch, Roxie! I had fun making it work and taking my mind off college boys driving through blizzards in the top half of our country! Some of you might remember me mentioning my DS being on a road trip to support George Fox University women's basketball team last week...well, they won the National Championship in Division III going undefeated 33-0!!! The girls flew back to Portland OR on Sunday, and the loyal guys driving and detoured 2 days in Belle Fourche, South Dakota because of the blizzard. They have just gotten back on the road this evening...but there are WY,MT,ID and WA to drive through before they head south and home!
My card celebrates the spirit wanderlust...and youth! I am wild for the 'game of travel' by Stamp Francisco. It is inked with ColorBox raven black on GP white cs. I used Artistic Outpost's Retro Road Trip sheet of um's for the awesome car, motel sign and the gas/eat diner bg. They are all stamped onto GP white, the car cut out and embossed with ColorBox lava black and the motel sign the same. I cut the map from our community phonebook. The mat for the travel game is cuttle with the traffic stop embossing folder. The dotted paper is from the K&CO new paper pad, Daydreams. I used Brazzill for the black linen mats and card base. SU's in color Baja Breeze are the blues.
Thanks for having a look and always, your comments are welcome!

Oh, Susan, don't our kids age us!!! Fortunately, youth and adventure is on their side and they make it through. Lived in S.Dakota and know your fears, but God and prayer will bring them home safely, Mom! What a perfect card - as always!

Another fabulous, fun card Susan. I love all the details to put into a card, this is no exception.
Continued prayers for Sam and friends to arrive home safely.
